OSAC Associates
The Oregon State Arthropod Collection is a resource shared by a vibrant community of researchers that visit and use the collection on a regular basis. With nearly 3 million specimens, we rely heavily on the curation provided by our lengthy list of Curatorial Associates - research entomologists with expertise in Insect Systematics and/or museum curation who volunteer their time to help us identify, organize and update the taxonomy for the many specimens in our collection.
OSAC's Research Associates comprise a diverse spectrum of museum stake-holders that includes entomologists and ecologists who use the collection to aid in their research programs (e.g., verify identifications, assess geographic distributions, etc.) or as a repository for their research's voucher material.
