OSAC helps coordinate 2008 ECN meeting in Reno

Dr. Marshall travelled to Reno Nevada this fall as one of several coordinators organizing the 2008 Entomological Collections Network (ECN) meeting.

This year's meeting focussed heavily on museum databasing, the role of the internet and electronic publications in taxonomy, novel uses for museum specimens and georeferencing.  

Attendance was once again high, exceeding 160 curators, collection managers, collectors and students- all interested in museum-related entomology.
