OSAC's new Digital Imaging System hits the press

As many people close to the collection know, OSAC has been seeking to create digital access to the collection for several years now. This custom designed digital imaging system, produced by Visionary Digital, is a critical component in our effort. Adam Martinez, an OSU Biology Program student, has received a NSF funded Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) grant to produce high resolution images of ground beetles from the H. J. Andrews Experimental Forest. Stop back at the end of the summer, when Adam will have produced a digital pictoral guide to the ground beetles currently known to live at the H. J. Andrews Experimental Forest in Blue River Oregon.
