Mr. James LaBonte, MSc.
Mr. James Labonte is an entomologist for the Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) and a regular contributor to the holdings and the curation of our Coleoptera collection. An OSU alumnus, Dr. LaBonte is an expert on the systematics of Carabidae and scolytine weevils (Curculionidae: Scolytinae) and invasive species in general. He is also the curator of the entomological research collection at ODA's headquarters in Salem, Oregon.
