To the best of its ability, OSAC covers the costs associated with preparing, packaging and shipping small and moderate sized loans to researchers. Researchers receiving material from the OSAC agree in advance to cover the costs associated with preparing, packages and returning the specimens to the museum at the completion of the loan period.
