The Oregon State Arthropod Collection represents the cumulative work of countless people. From the individuals who have spent their lives collecting and carefully mounting and labeling insect specimens from all over the planet - to expert taxonomist who have examined these specimens, identified them and worked to make predictive and natural classifications by which to organize them.  Today, these specimens are cared for by a cadre of curators, student workers and hard working volunteers, without whom these specimens would not be available to our stakeholders (both today and in the future).
